I saw this leaf, all brown and bleh, but still beautiful!!

Two views of Sunrise

With the changing times and winter on its way, Ive been able to see the sun rise most mornings!!  It leads to some delightful photos!

Falltime Slough

Before the snow hit, I went out to the slough behind the house  (for non Saskatchewanians - a marshy or reedy pool, pond, inlet, backwater, or the like)  I love how the grass was starting to change a bit..

Last Birds of Fall

While I hadn't been out birding too much this year, I did get out a few times!
This robin was playing hide and seek with us

And a beautiful Harris' Sparrow was playing peekaboo!

Whats in a Nest?

With all the leaves fallen off the trees, I am able to see all the birds nests so much easier!!

While some are just sticks and plain..

Others have interesting pieces and bits!

Mushroom Group

Spotted this lovely stand of mushrooms while wandering the zoo grounds...

Great White wonders

This one was some kind of deer-like animal at the zoo (the name escapes me right now, sorry)

Went back a little later and found this rather dignified fella sitting on a wagon..

Pheasant on Green

Pretty guy, all he wanted was his food... Instead, he got photographed and harassed by kittens.. LOL

He started crowing a bit - that scared em off!

Ruby Throated Hummingbird

Got to see this little beauty on a flower.. A lot nicer then pictures of them at a feeder!!

Fall time sights

I love the fall!! All sorts of awesome things happen!!
The trees get all sorts of awesome colours (Okay, this one started out red)

Birds are everywhere - We had wrens making visits to the house yard

Some last minute butterflies are around - So pretty!!

and FOG!! I love fog!!... Okay, not driving in it.. but seeing it!
